dukta is a unique incision process which makes wood and wood-based materials flexible. The incisions give the material almost textile properties and considerably expand its areas of application and qualities. dukta opens up completely new horizons for the user in interior finishing and interior design with its visual and technical characteristics. Of particular interest is the high sound-absorbing effect of the perforated wood material. The int. patented process works with commercially available wood materials such as plywood, MDF and three-layer boards. Because of their deformability and transparency, dukta panels offer great added value visually and acoustically compared with conventional absorbers.
Dukta semi-finished products are based on a patented process for making wood and wood-based materials more flexible. The wood-based panels, which are cut into one or two sides, open up a wide range of design possibilities due to their bendability and transparency. They are particularly suitable for sound-absorbing wall and ceiling applications and for free-standing partition wall elements.
The large proportion of open area (15-40%) makes dukta elements suitable for the concealed use of room air conditioning systems. Thanks to the greatly increased surface area, the incised panels have a regulative effect on the room climate.
