The sound-absorbing WoodUpp acoustic panels sustainably reduce sound and also impress with their modern Scandinavian lamella design.
The acoustic panel measures 2400 x 600 mm and consists of lamellas 11 mm deep and 27 mm wide, with a gap of 13 mm between them. The panel is 22 mm thick in total, including the slats and the felt.
We prefer to use sustainable materials in our products. Our acoustic felt is made from recycled plastic, which means we take a waste product and turn it into something useful and beautiful. The felt is designed to absorb sound waves and dampen sound.
Our core is made of medium density fibreboard and is available in black or natural.
The slats create diffusion, which essentially means that they refract the sound waves and thereby dampen the sound.
All the wood we use comes from sustainable forestry, which ensures that the forest can reproduce more trees than are felled. In addition, our supplier provides good working conditions for the people who work in the forest, while protecting and respecting the wildlife in the forest.
In an official sound test, our Akupanel achieved the highest possible rating -Sound Class A (when mounted on a 45 mm thick sub-battening with mineral wool in the gap).
