Light concrete has existed for over 80 years - but for many years only as a prototype.
LUCEM started the development of a series production in 2007.
By means of some milestones the practice-relevant development until today is shown:
First practical application 2010 (100 sqm elevator cladding in the head office of Signal Iduna Versicherung, Dortmund).
First facade 2012 (120 sqm extension building Institute for Textile Technology, Aachen)
First facade over 500 sqm 2015 (Al Aziz Mosque, Abu Dhabi)
First salt/chlorine water application 2016 (Obermaintherme, Bad Staffelstein)
First underwater application 2017 (Wahat Al Karama, Abu Dhabi)
