Versatile acoustic solutions for ceilings and walls

Since 1935, Troldtekt® has been developing and producing ceiling and wall systems for a healthy indoor climate and acoustic comfort in schools, kindergartens, indoor swimming pools, cultural and sports centers, offices, commercial and industrial buildings as well as homes.

Troldtekt® acoustic panels are manufactured in Denmark from natural wood and cement from Danish raw material sources under state-of-the-art conditions. Troldtekt is both FSC®-certified (FSC®C115450) and PEFC™-certified, so customers can choose the certification of their Troldtekt acoustic panels.

Aware of its responsibility to minimize CO2 emissions wherever possible, Troldtekt also produces acoustic panels based on the FUTURECEM™ cement type, whose life cycle CO2 footprint is 26 and 38 percent lower than Troldtekt acoustic panels based on grey and white cement respectively.

Troldtekt supports the comprehensive approach of the Cradle to Cradle Certified® concept and has integrated it into its long-term business strategy. At the beginning of 2022, after more than 10 years of intensive, strategic work on the value chain and development of a new color formulation, the panels in natural and also in standard colors, including the non-combustible A2 acoustic panels and new Troldtekt panels based on FUTURECEM™, were upgraded from Cradle to Cradle Certified-Silver to Cradle to Cradle Certified-Gold.The decisive factor for the upgrade to gold was that the new color formulations for the standard colors white, grey and even black are used in production.

Troldtekt® acoustic panels are extremely sound-absorbent, offer effective fire protection ((B-s1, d0, A2-s1, d0), high strength (ball impact resistance) and are suitable for the most humid rooms. The acoustic panels have been awarded the "Blue Angel" and the "Allergy Friendly Product Award" as "low-emission", are classified in the best category of the Danish Indoor Climate Seal of Quality and bear the M1 mark of the Finnish Indoor Climate Association. As a member of the DGNB, Troldtekt supports its work with extensive practical experience and has stored the profiles of Troldtekt® products in the online building product platform (DGNB Navigator).
