Anodized surfaces playing with light, DB 703 powder-coated panels and printed glass panels.
VNG: The office building with data center is still characterized by the greatest possible glass transparency. The facade details are accordingly filigree. Glass surfaces are point-fixed. Light reflection and mirroring of the surroundings dematerialize the building during the day. At night, light art by James Turrell enlivens the conference tower.
Double facades with integrated solar shading enclose a light-flooded atrium. Underneath is the computer center, integrated between the office towers.
Neuss municipal utility headquarters:
The plasticity of the building structure is the design principle here. The sloping, slightly offset end faces of the structure's three wings curve away from the ground and thus seem barely connected to it. The concave mullion - transom facades with DB 703 vent panels are framed by E6EV 1 anodized panel surfaces.
This light - dark contrast further enlivens the facade.
Weser Quartier Steigenberger Hotel:
The facades emphasize the structural framework of ceilings and columns. The structural elements are clad on the outside with extruded profile frames, while the floor-to-ceiling glass panels in between appear very animated thanks to their division into non-colored transparent and colored non-transparent panels. The block sashes of the opening panels are concealed behind the panels or behind the frames.
