XC® living ceiling elements are fully assembled ceilings that do not require any support and are produced in the factory under controlled conditions in accordance with predefined product specifications using type statics. On request and after consultation, built-in components such as electrical conduits or boxes can be assembled ready for installation and delivered in accordance with customer specifications or statics. The XC® living element consists of a large-format solid wood panel, which absorbs the tensile forces that occur when installed, and a concrete layer connected by form-fitting notches to absorb the compressive forces. The ratio of wood to concrete (based on the cross-sectional height) can be adjusted to the respective loads and usage requirements within the framework of the specified static design concept.

XC® office beam ceilings are industrially prefabricated wood-concrete composite components for structural applications in building construction and industrial construction.
