Billions of PET beverage bottles are produced every year, only to be disposed of again after an average lifespan of approx. 2 weeks. This already existing raw material is recycled into PET fibers and used by pinta acoustic GmbH to produce much higher quality and design products for sound absorption in rooms.
Pinta obtains all PET raw materials exclusively from local suppliers. Waste generated during the production process in our manufacturing facility can be completely recycled back into PET fibers by local disposal companies and fed back into the manufacturing process. Likewise, POLAR products can be easily removed at the end of their life cycle without the need for tools and fed 100% into the recycling process. Here, beverage bottles, lining materials for the clothing industry or even new pinta acoustic products are created again.
The raw material pinta POLAR consists of 100% pure, absolutely pollutant-free and OEKO-TEX-certified PET class 1, suitable for baby skin. The recycled content is approx. 70 %. We pay special attention to the protection of users and their environment. The material is free of mineral fibers and formaldehyde and is manufactured without chemical additives. In addition, the material is flame retardant B1, as well as compatible for allergy sufferers.
