SILOCITY: TINY TEA HOUSE combines experimental architecture, mobility and social habitat. An old food silo becomes a place of gathering and inspiration to stimulate rethinking between recyclables and residual spaces. The ubiquitous experiment creates a space for stimulating conversations and meditative moments over a cup of tea for up to 10 people in a 3 square meter footprint. As part of Refunc's SiloCity, the tea house plays with possible reuses of disused agricultural and industrial objects. With the silo vertical, the installation's mobile base functions as a herb garden and tea terrace. The aim of the project is to reunite people and materials- with a new sense of space, with different principles and thoughts.
