TRIQBRIQ is a circular timber construction system that for the first time makes a biological and sustainable shell construction based on calamity wood possible.
WOOD CONSTRUCTION STONES
Using a three-axial system, squared timbers made of coniferous calamity wood are connected by means of beechwood dowels to create a timber building block (BRIQ). The different BRIQs are produced in three standard lengths, although special designs are possible.
ASSEMBLY
The individual BRIQs are connected to the other BRIQs in the system via studs and blind holes and are also locked together using beechwood dowels. This system allows for quick, smooth and circular assembly and disassembly.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
The TRIQBRIQ timber construction system is suitable for all building classes. The range of applications extends from residential and office buildings, schools and hotels to the addition of storeys and extensions to existing buildings.
SUSTAINABILITY
TRIQBRIQ enables construction without the use of artificial fasteners within the system thanks to its triaxial beech wood dowel connection. Furthermore, thanks to its monolithic timber construction, the system contributes to storing CO2 in our built environment. At the same time, it reduces the burden on the forestry industry by using only calamity wood as the primary raw material for TRIQBRIQ.
RECYCLABILITY
A TRIQBRIQ shell is an anthropogenic raw material store. Thanks to the patented three-axial connection system, all walls built with TRIQBRIQ can be deconstructed according to type and reused in other new construction projects.
BRIQ 60:
